“…David Pazos of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said crews were dispatched to the Wells Fargo bank in the 8300 block of Woodmont Avenue due to a reported odor of gas and people feeling ill.

There, crews detected a high carbon monoxide reading inside the bank and the residential building above it.

As firefighters searched the area, they located a running generator in the garage, which led to the carbon monoxide levels in part of the high-rise building and bank…”
