Virginia –
“A hotel in Hampton will be closed until the source of a carbon monoxide leak can be determined.
Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue responded to a hotel at 1918 Coliseum Drive at 9 a.m. Saturday for a possible gas leak, according to a press release from the fire division.
A gas meter detected carbon monoxide levels above acceptable levels in the building, but crews were unable to locate the source of the leak, the press release stated.
Virginia Natural Gas responded and has shut off the gas.
The Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue has placarded the building, meaning it is closed. The building codes official will determine when the property reopens.”
