Kent County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms mother, daughter died from carbon monoxide poisoning

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — “A mother and daughter were found dead in their Honda SUV Tuesday afternoon by Kent County Sheriff’s deputies. Now, the Kent County Medical Examiner’s Office is confirming that the two died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

38-year-old Nicole Marie Moore and her daughter, 16-year-old Kyli Grace Dodge were found in a community parking lot at the Maplewood Mobile Home Park on Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m., according to police. The deputies that found them said the SUV had a heavy smell of exhaust fumes.”
