CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, Calif. —
“Legal action is now being considered against Carmel-by-the Sea and the Sunset Cultural center after a hazmat incident possibly involving carbon monoxide earlier this month sent several kids to the hospital.
Fourth grader Corale Olsen was among three students who ended up in the emergency room at a local hospital.
‘I don’t really remember a lot because I fainted a lot during that and then next thing I knew, I woke up and I was in an ambulance and being rushed to the hospital and the people were trying to wake me up,’ the 10 year old said.
Olsen was among 70 students from the Carmel Unified School District practicing for an upcoming choir festival when kids started experiencing lightheadedness and passing out.”
