“The charges relate to an Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League match between the Adelaide Rush and Melbourne Ice from February 2024, which Safework SA said led to more than 40 hospitalisations.
It is alleged patrons and players at the match were exposed to carbon monoxide due to a “poorly maintained” fuel powered ice resurfacer.”
